First off, let me say that I am CRAZY about the Blazing Angel and Andromeda refits! Excellent work, to be sure. The other refits are good but don't stand out that much IMO. Personally, I think the America Class and the Argo Class could be refitted. The Paladin could undergo a refit but is quite fine as is. The Stocker Class I'm not that familiar with...if it's a canon ship than I personally don't know if it needs refitted or not, as I'm pretty bad with canon ships myself. Razz

Great work! Look forward to seeing more!

I agree with Scare- I love the Blazing Angel refit, especially. The SNOT work on the bottom gives it a very interesting three-dimensional feel. Great work!

Danke, danke! I am quite proud of the Angel's refit myself! And it surprisingly did not take long to do! The Andromeda on the other hand, I've been working on, on and off for months! Razz

As far as the other refits go , the Rhode Island and Mayo classes aren't supposed to look much different than they were originally. Just smoother and more up to date. The Texas is primarily larger and more heavily armed. I'm trying to get away from standard phasers and torpedoes and add more of a realistic weapons feel to my ships. Razz

The Stocker class is one of my first ships. Long before you were a member of the lab. It's a non-canon ship, as are all of these. All of my canon ships are undergoing refits as well, because they were ALL out of scale. Razz

The Argo class is definately one that I should refit. Too plain IMO. Good for when I made it... but now... meh. I'll probably rebuild it completely from scratch.

America... not exactly sure what I would do with it, but I was kinda thinking I should refit her... just not entirely sure what to do. It has a very unique shape to it... and I can't make it much larger without making it look boring. Razz

You're like me, with every refit the ship gets bigger. Razz

But when I said keep the blazing angel, I didn't really mean refit the small version and then keep it.......ah well. Razz The refitted Mayo looks cool, but so does the other one, I might have them be two versions used at the same time.

I personally like the MK II Texas the best, the little grey things on teh front of the MK III are ugly IMO, I would paint them white.

The Rhode Island looks good refitted.

And don't touch the Paladin, you'll mess it up. Razz

And you already know my thoughts on the Andromeda. Razz

Other than that, looks good. Razz

Rhode Island: I personally preferred the first one. My suggestion for either would be to give it round blue nacelle pieces instead of square.

Mayo: the Mk I Mayo and Mk I blazing Angel look the same to me... am I missing something? Anyways, the MKII looks awesome. You know I prefer Trek bridges, but as these are your ships, give them the bridges you like. Smile

Texas: I LOVE the Mk III Texas!!! My ONE suggestion would be to paint the saucer entirely white. OR just have a couple of light bluish gray markings. Are you going for a phaser effect with the dark bluish gray pieces?

Patriot: I l_O_V_E the Mk III Patriot!!!! It looks like a 3-way cross between an Akira, a Steamrunner, and a Miranda. Again, I would leave the saucer all white. And probably greatly enlarge the nacelles. Other than that... this is a work of engineered art!

Stocker... looks like it came out of JJ Abrams "Trek" (I know it's an oldie that far outdates said reboot) take that as a compliment for design, but I just shiver whenever I see Abrams Trek... Razz call me old fashioned.

Blazing Angel: now THAT'S a medical ship I'd feel safe being treated on! Very Happy GREAT work!!!

Paladin: You're getting (almost Razz ) as bad as I am with the Sovereign... tweaking tiny things and calling them refits. Razz Still, she's an AWESOME ship! Very Happy

Andromeda: WOW..... the new Andromeda is HUGE!!! MUST... HAVE... MORE... PICTURES!!!!!! From what I see, she's absolutely AWESOME. Must... see... MORE!!!!!

Omega class shield ship: as I said via PM, this is one awesome ship! Very Happy

Argo: it'll be interesting to see you take her from a 9.95 to a complete 10/10...

My main thing with the Rhode Island is that I was trying to make it smaller. Razz

Mayo, there isn't a big difference, just small things and a different bridge.

Yes, I was going for a phaser effect on the Texas.

I've had a lot of comments on the grey on the Patriot, so I guess I'll change them. Razz. As far as the nacelles go, I'm not sure how much larger I could make them.

Abram's Trek. XD. I hear ya. 09 was awful. Into the Darkness wasn't bad though.
