Good thing I just added this emote, it was needed.

Annnd......that sums it up effectively........just

....
....
...
processing.....

ITS SO FLIPPING AMAZING!!!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

I love the presentation with the cool font and pictures! Awesome!

I love the ship! I think I actually like your other super-cruiser better, but this is still top-notch! I especially like the battle-pod at the back!

AND THE DETAIL! I love the though you put into this! I love it love it love it! It's amazing!!!! Your Acti-Scan. (Major bonus points for redundancy and "if" cases! throughout the ship! That's my kind of ship! I especially love the double correct codes and backup computers) Your shields. Your weapons! I love your pulse-torpedo stations! And your weapon variety! It's not often you see isokenetic cannons! (I believe this is only the third ship to have one, if you don't count mine, and I'm removing them off of mine anyways.) You did really amazing! It's so epix! I LOVE IT!!!!! And I love it's multi-vectral assault mode! It's GREAT!!!!

I have only two criticism, in everything I can only find two. Your speeds on your battle bridge, saucer, and especially your escort are rather excessive. Even though warp 6 is slow, I think it's quite fast for a ship it's size. The same (though with a different speed) for the battle bridge). The only other thing is I would suggest many more fighters, bombers, and such. But those can easily be added, though it seems like it might take a while to make a whole new awesome picture to update any stats. Razz

I LOVE IT!!! I WANT IT!!! CAN I BUYZ ONE PLEASE?!?

Re: PCG Indomitable

Thank you AA! :DI'm glad it is jaw-on-floor worthy! RazzSmile

Yeah, I decided that it'd be fun to do a more "official" looking description.... it ended up being more like "work" and less like fun, but it was worth it.... not that I'm planning on doing it again. Razz

Thanks AA. And don't worry, you'll be seeing more of the warp-ring style supercruisers... just not until I can breathe from this one :PI like weapons pods :Pand the only reason NOT to do it was tradition... well, this isn't the Enterprise, she wasn't built to "explore strange new worlds" she was built to scare the wits out of anyone with the nerve to mess with some old ones. Razz

Detail is one fourth the ship; pictures, description, and frame make up the rest. Razz
ActiScan was my answer (one I've been tinkering with for a while now) to the viruses that are so popular with our enemies.
I think you might have missed a few Isokinetc cannons then, I've put them on a decent (not TONS, but certainly there) amount of ships, and I THINK Flipz uses them too.
The MV Assault Mode is just so awesome... and bringing it as a surprise in an Advanced Heavy Assault Battlecruiser is icing on the proverbial lie, er cake. Razz(JK)

The speeds:
(These are taken directly from Memory Alpha, so they stand as pretty much absolute canon.)
Defiant class: "Warp 9.5 or higher" *roughly equivalent in size to the Escort... which needs a name come to think of it... Razz*
Intrepid class: "Warp 9.975 (max. sustainable cruise velocity)" *roughly equivalent in size to the Bridge Module.*
Prometheus class: Established speed of warp 9.9+, and the "saucer" had two TINY little nacelles pop out for MV mode warp flight... I don't  recall if the Prometheus slowed down to do MV mode or not in her one major appearance, but I'm pretty sure they didn't slow down much. Admittedly the Indomitable saucer has some pretty small nacelles... but given that I am assuming for tech/building purposes that we are in the 2,460s, and our official timeline has us in the 2,580s, and given that the Prometheus didn't seem to slow down from Warp 9.9 even with her saucer's micro nacelles,  I think I can get away with giving a flagship some decent warp speeds. Razz
So in short, the saucer is reasonably realistic, perhaps a bit faster than one would expect, but not too bad. As for the Battle Bridge and the Escort, if anything, they are actually too slow based on canon sources.

As to the fighters... Well... she DOES have an absolutely CAVERNOUS main hanger bay... and her secondary bay is larger than many ship's MAIN bay... AND she has a third bay... so perhaps she could carry some more fighters, but as I was basing her on Star Fleet designs, which are notorious for not taking advantage of fighters... I didn't want to be completely unrealistic with her complement. I suppose that the numbers listed could be her STANDARD complement, and that she can actually carry more.

Again, thanks for the compliments and the advice AA..

As to buying one, I'm sorry, you can't do that.

You can have one as a gift though. :DConstruction has already begun on sister ships of the class (in RP Razz)

Schweet! To make it fair though I'll have to give you something in return......let me build something worthy of it first... Razz

As to the speeds, well, i guess that works then. You have throughly demonstrated that you did some heavy research for this ship, i also noted the neutronium armor and protection of major areas with extra armor.

Wow. Although I am not quite as impressed(sorry, too much time on Brothers Brick has pretty much numbed my mind towards spaceships Razz), I do love the Phoenix built into the saucer. This is very well done. Your backstory and technological details are amazing, and I can tell much work was put into them.

Also, Ablative armor? You do realize that Ablative is a Latin case? Razz

AA, well then, I'll be looking forward to what you come up with. Smile But it isn't required. Not that I mind in the least! Razz

Brock. T. Ron
Yeah, spending time on sites FILLED with AFOLs with degrees in engineering and money does have that effect. Razz

Ablative is a Latin case, (I actually take Latin Razz) but in English it has do do with Ablation, "the erosion of the protective outer surface (ablator) of a spacecraft or missile due to heat during reentry through the atmosphere." And in Star Trek it is an armor that ablates when it takes fire, thus dissipating the energy from beam weapons fire away from the ship itself.

Looks a bit like a Sovereign-class to me. Hmmm. I like it, though, definitely top-notch.

Also, your use of the my PCG symbol in the corners of your images makes me think I should provide the direct links to the logo both with and without the drop shadow so everyone can include it if they want. Razz

Maybe if you had just had the whole thing (including the drop-shadow) on a trasnparent background so there isn't that white on the edge. That'ld be nice. Very Happy

...How have I never seen this before?!

This ship is an absolute beauty! Everything looks so sleek and round (kudos to you for that Very Happy)! I don't know which has me more speechless, the ship itself or the billions of specs you wrote! I found the part about the Actiscan really interesting (and very understandable to my brain which is now aching from all of those hundreds of confusing specs  ). But I keep going back to stare at the ship! She's fantastic! The phoenix on the saucer is really cool, and I absolutely LOVE how she looks without the saucer section. But I think I'm babbling now. I'll just keep it simple (at the risk of being redundant): HOLY COW OH MY GOODNESS THIS SHIP IS SO AWESOME IT'S ONE OF IF NOT THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!! (takes a deep breath Razz) Okay, I'm done. Very Happy

That last post of yours... Are you planning an RP? Do tell!

Thanks Soccergirl! Very Happy I guess because it's a big galaxy website. Razz
It was very interesting building such a rounded ship at this scale...
Actiscan was (keyword, WAS) a much needed advancement. After all, most of our (former) enemies used virus based weaponry to overcome the sheer power of the PCG. A solution was needed. Annnnd... it's a tad late as we don't HAVE any (active) enemies now... then again, we don't have many active members either.... oh well. Razz it's still pretty cool, perhaps over explained, but cool. Razz
I like putting the Phoenix on ships... it looks good, and PCG-y. The multi-vector assault mode was a very interesting thing to work with I must say. But really quite fun after the kinks were worked out.
At the risk of blowing my own horn.... which I would never do.... too much; I really like how she turned out.

Nah, not now... so few people are active... I can't really count myself, so it's really just you and AA... Razz I have no plans for RPing... just school. Razz But I do plan on (if I can find the time)writing a story... eh, maybe I could put together an RP at some point... it would be fun.

Aww, dino, you make me sad with this no RPing stuff. But that means just not right now. :PIt would be fun, though. On that matter, so would a story! I don't think I've read anything from you before! Don't worry about finding time, just do what I do: skip sleep. As a college student, I've found that you really only need four hours to function within normal parameters. That eight hours thing is just a myth. :PA little writing actually makes it easier to sleep! Sleep

You're in college?!? Wow....I always imagined you as younger than me, not older. Razz My sleep requirements depend on what I'm trying to do, I've done three to five hours a day for school before, but then I got a job, and I've found then I need atleast 8 hours, preferably more. Razz But yes, I often fall asleep trying to write. Razz The downside is I never get any writing done that way. Razz

Yep, I'm a college freshman! Funny, I always thought of you as older than me, not younger. ;)And my job (if you can call steady babysitting a job) is only 8 total hours over two days a week, so I don't need all that much sleep, plus I find college a lot easier than what Mom had me doing as a homeschooler. I always do my best writing by the light of the old nightlight that I keep just for that purpose... and I've never fallen asleep! Of course, now that I say that, I'll end up tonight doing just that. So you're a year(ish) older than me (maybe two). And points for homeschooling! Homeschooling rocks. Razz I'm actually at a private school, but I was homeschooled for my first years and I deffinitly was at a higher caliber then. I work 25 hours a week, plus classes (not that many, but still enough), plus sports, plus trying to keep up with everything else and get ready for college (which isn't going well). I only make it on here when I get distracted from my online schooling. Razz

I was practically in the same boat as you! I graduated from a private school that was a college format- meaning you took the classes you wanted to take (for me, one English, one science, and one art class each year) while Mom taught the rest. I loved it, although it didn't leave much free time. I have loads of it now. :DMost of my time here is during breaks from online homework, though... Some things never change! Razz
