Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Empty Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

These are some UAVs that I put together recently. I'm not going to go into detailed specs right now, but I wanted to get the designs and basic functions out there before I forgot about them.

ISD-2 "Vulture" Infantry Support Drone
This small flyer is designed to support small groups of infantry in a variety of roles and scenarios. It is a relatively simple craft which generates lift with a pair of conventional rotors. The simplicity of the design and mechanics allows for easy field repair and modification. The ED-2 is also equipped with folding lander legs to allow for vertical takeoff and landing on a variety of terrains. An under-slung gimbaled minigun is the flyer's sole armament, and this, combined with the craft's advanced sensor, communication, and navigation suites, allows it to be used to great effect when attached to small infantry units, with conventional applications ranging from fire support to reconnaissance and beyond.

Spoiler:

RD-10 "Osprey" Reconnaissance Drone
The Osprey is a short- to mid-ranged high-altitude recon drone. This vehicle's primary role is scouting, but it can also be used for communications and a variety of other tasks. It can also be fitted with a long-ranged precision magnetic accelerator rifle, which allows the drone to be used for assassination and fire support when flying at lower altitudes. It is equipped with folding lander legs and jets to allow for vertical takeoff and landing to ensure functionality in low-infrastructure environments.

Spoiler:

RD-20 "Condor" Reconnaissance Drone
Like the RD-10, the RD-20 is primarily used for recon, though it is designed for long-ranged missions, often in the upper reaches of the atmosphere. The Condor has a very powerful sensor suite along with communications and navigational assets. This drone is also equipped with four mid-sized air-to-ground missiles, allowing it to serve a role in precision missile strikes. Unlike the Osprey, the Condor relies on wheels for landing gear, necessitating a short runway for takeoff and landing, though in some cases it can be launched from a catapult in low-infrastructure environments.

Spoiler:

All of these drones are equipped with the necessary assets to link them to the Theater Information Network, making them invaluable tools for informing troops and commanders of conditions across a theater of any size and allowing for increased coordination between units.

Not a huge fan of the Vulture (looks a bit too steampunk-y for my tastes), but the Osprey and Condor are both really good!

It just looks modern to me, Mighty, which is okay, but not very futuristic.
