Intimidator-class Corporate Enforcer Cruiser Empty Intimidator-class Corporate Enforcer Cruiser

The ICC employs a variety of small warships in its territory, which fulfill roles such as suppressing piracy, quelling dissidents who try to rebel against or escape from the ICC's tight and sometimes corrupt business dealings, and enforcing law.

Of this private navy, the ICC's Intimidator-class Enforcer Cruisers are by far the most common.

Creator's Notes:
So, this was just a quick build from a while ago. It started out with me building a small CIS-styled hull concept late last summer, which ended up getting dumped in my Templates. Later I was decluttering said templates, found it, and decided to play around with it some.

Aaand this is the result. ...For a while I got stuck on the lower part of the ship, then decided to turn it partially into a "proof-of-concept" for my new cylinder-hull design, which you'll be seeing more in my future MSI builds.

Overall it turned out pretty nicely. Definitely a lot of CIS inspiration with the design, namely the Munificent and Recusant classes, which also ended up spawning the idea for the ICC somewhat.

Sorry for the lack of pictures and description and stuff. I didn't really put much thought into what I wanted this ship to be, other than a corporate "police ship" for doing the ICC's dirty work or something like that. Anyway, enjoy!

*squeals with delight* Greebles! There's so many little details on this ship, they're just everywhere! I really like the tooth tiles in the engine section and the folding red panels on the back; they look like they'd drop down and release a bunch of smaller craft, probes or missiles.
And the front end bit, I was confused on how you found a round tile with a cross in the middle, but then I realised it was really an axle that was perfectly flush. Again, little details everywhere!
I look forward to seeing what the stats are!

Dear Arik,

It is to my extreme displeasure to inform you that I hate your guts.

Nah, but in all seriousness. This is one of the best smaller scaled models I have seen in a long time! One of my favorite points is the technic axle you stuck in the cylinder on the bottom of the ship, I don't know why, but to me that adds a great aesthetic. The engines are simple, yet excellently made, and the sensor stack is very nice looking.

I really like the feel of the wheel/tire you used underneath the main cannons on the sides of the ship, it gives it a nice turret feel. This leads me to the little wingletts/stabilizers(...?) under the cannons are really sweet even if they possibly serve no purpose, and the cheese slopes just make for an excellent ridged look.

This really reminds me I need to get back to building and upload some of the ships for new factions that I already have finished. Maybe I'll do that tonight if I have time after work. If not, perhaps tomorrow afternoon.

All: Thanks everyone! Razz

Nikolo: The thruster section was pretty tough. It was really flat at first besides the thrusters, and I spent a long time brainstorming what kinds of detailing to slap on to break up that flatness. Personally I'm not content with what's there, but I'm glad someone else likes it. Razz

J-Red: Honestly small ships are waaaay easier to build with lots of detailing than big ones. Razz Probably because the little greebles have more effect or something.
The axle in the front was purely an accident at first, but I'm pretty happy with the effect. Unfortunately I'm still kinda unhappy with the front of the cylinder, mostly due to the exposed studs. I couldn't figure out a way to cover them up (LEGO needs to make a plate-thickness, studless version of part #3063) that still looked okay.
The wing/panel thingies... Honestly I have no clue what purpose they serve. Razz My inspiration for the cylinders used them and looked pretty good with it, so I decided to try it out here. My best guess as to their function is just as big armor panels, but why you wouldn't want them attached directly to the ship is beyond me, unless it's to somehow make them easier to replace between battles.

Wow... that sure has that SW vibe to it. Razz the SNOT/general building techniques here are nothing short of beautiful; great job there. I'm actually not personally a huge fan of the armor flaps or whatever they're called/going to be- but other than that, the ship is solid. Great job!

They're too disjoined from the ship to make them worth anything as armor. unless they're forming a shell around something, which it doesn't look like they are.

I've seen similar things to them on other sci-fi ships, but there's never any kind of explanation of what they are. I guess maybe they're just large greebs.
