Narkova Unami-Class Light Carrier

The Narkova Unami-Class light carrier is a small, fast(ish), lightly armed carrier craft. Most of the bow section is taken up with a large hangar, which can hold fighters, bombers, and small landing craft. Ten IH-P7 plasma stardrives provide sublight thrust, while a standard hyperdrive powers FTL travel.

An ultra-defensive approach has been taken with Unami-Class vessels. There is enough weaponry to get it through a moderate fight in one piece, but not quite enough for it go on alone. To augment this, a eight-layer overlapping ShieldTech M-27a shield system has been implemented. This shield system, in concert with fighter and cruiser escorts, along with its own guns, makes the Unami-Class carrier difficult to blast out of the sky.

The bulkiness gives a feel of strength - it might not really be all that strong armor-wise but I like it. And of course it has a lot of pretty colors. Nice job!
