Almost everything about the Dragon Class is light or small.  Its lightweight.  Its color is light.  It has a small crew.  It has a small number of weapons.

Everything else is not light.  It has lots of armor and shielding, and of course, since these things are so cheap, indubitably there are going to be a lot of them flying around!

And there are.

The Dragon is armed with two phaser banks on the top of the saucer, one phaser strip on the underside of the saucer, a phaser bank at the back below the hanger, and one torpedo launcher at the front of the saucer.

Maximum warp speed is Warp 9.975 and, with a cruising speed of Warp 7.  Its sublight acceleration rate is above average.  The Dragon is also very agile and can out-turn many other starships.

Awwww it's so cute! Wait... di I just say that out loud.... oops... I mean, tactically sized, yes, that's it. Nice work Talmid, that looks like one fun ship to swoop around in.

Too bad the only one doing the flying is the helmsman.

There must be a manual Captain's joystick control version....

Probably using an old videogame controller randomly thrown it because the feds are too cheap to make an original and cool looking one. (refrence to certain moment with Riker and the Enterprise.)
